‼️NEWS ALERT!! UPDATE ON CRUISES TO CUBA!‼️
"The U.S. government announced today that, effective tomorrow, June 5th, 2019, new travel restrictions will be implemented that eliminate the ability of cruise ships to travel to Cuba. We're disappointed to hear of the Administration’s decision to significantly restrict travel activity to Cuba."

We have received a couple of calls recently regarding travel to Cuba. Tourist travel is still NOT allowed to Cuba.
Here are the Facts:
While not everyone can go to Cuba, there are now twelve reasons provided by the government that do give you the right to travel there. If you fit into one of these twelve categories, you qualify under a “general license” and don’t need the U.S. government to issue you a “specific license” anymore!
The permitted reasons to travel to Cuba (as defined by the U.S. Government) are:
1. Family visits
2. Official business of the U.S. government, foreign governments, and certain intergovernmental organizations
3. Journalistic activity
4. Professional research and professional meetings
5. Educational activities
6. Religious activities
7. Public performances, clinics, workshops, athletic and other competitions, and exhibitions
8. Support for the Cuban people
9. Humanitarian projects
10. Activities of private foundations or research or educational institutes
11. Exportation, importation, or transmission of information or information materials
12. Certain authorized export transactions
