UNITE OVER CAN’T-WAIT GREAT
They’re still building Carnival Horizon, but there’s already reason to get excited. Currently under construction at Fincantieri’s shipyard in Marghera, Italy, Carnival Horizon will be Carnival's second Vista-class ship. Carnival Horizon will offer many of the hugely popular indoor and outdoor dining, bar, entertainment and activity options available on Carnival Vista including SkyRide, the IMAX Theatre, WaterWorks aqua park, Seuss at Sea program in partnership with Dr. Seuss Enterprises and Alchemy Bar. There will also be a number of new innovations unique to this vessel. In addition, Carnival Horizon will offer a wide range of accommodation categories, including the popular Havana staterooms and extra-roomy Family Harbor cabins.
DR. SEUSS WATERWORKS
Dr. Seuss WaterWorks builds upon our distinction of being the family cruise leader carrying nearly 800,000 kids a year as well as the incredible success of the fleetwide Seuss at Sea program, an exclusive partnership with Dr. Seuss Enterprises that features immersive onboard Dr. Seuss-themed youth, family, dining and entertainment experiences.
Located on Deck 12, Carnival Horizon’s Dr. Seuss WaterWorks will offer two distinctly different slides each promising their own splash-tastic fun. Inspired by everyone’s favorite feline, The Cat in the Hat slide will feature an enclosed raft slide offering more than 450 feet of heart-racing twists and turns. The entrance resembles The Cat’s famous red and white hat with the distinctive color pattern carried throughout the slide in alternating translucent and opaque sections.
Sure to be equally fun will be the Fun Things slide, an enclosed body slide with whimsical polka dots and special lighting effects and named after the mischievous duo Thing 1 and Thing 2 and encompassing 213 feet of exhilarating all-ages fun. Dr. Seuss WaterWorks will also include a 150-gallon tipping bucket patterned after The Cat’s hat, along with a kiddie splash zone with dozens of water spray toys.

With SkyRide™, the cruise industry's first pedal-powered open-air aerial attraction, we have created some of the best and highest outdoor vistas ever offered on a cruise ship. Adventurous riders can climb aboard hanging recumbent-like bikes to cycle their way around the 800-foot suspended track with panoramic views from 150 feet above the sea. Nearby there is SkyCourse™, an exhilarating suspended ropes course. Both are part of the outdoor activity park that also includes an indoor sports hangout, The Clubhouse at SportSquare™, featuring mini-bowling, ping-pong, arcade basketball, sports video gaming and more.
BIG-TIME ENTERTAINMENT AT THE MULTIPLEX
Carnival Horizon's views are truly spectacular inside, too. They've partnered with entertainment innovator IMAX® to bring the world's most immersive cinematic experience to sea with an IMAX® Theatre on a ship. Guests can take in the latest Hollywood blockbusters, IMAX classics and IMAX documentary content on a screen that's three decks high. Next door at the Thrill Theater™, moviegoers can enjoy a multi-dimensional special effects experience. Both are part of the Carnival Multiplex complete with a concession stand offering popcorn and movie snacks. The Warehouse, featuring a variety of video and arcade games, is located adjacent to the Carnival Multiplex.

Carnival Horizon offers a wide variety of well-appointed, beautifully designed staterooms and suites including the tropics-inspired Havana Cabanas feature suites with private outdoor patios – complete with lounge chairs and hammock – that face the expanded Lanai ocean-air outdoor promenade and offer magnificent sea views in addition to easy access to the Havana Bar and Pool (All Havana stateroom guests must be 12 or older.)

Cherry on Top is the sweetest spot at sea, with a new premium mixed-to-order custom ice cream creation bar, outdoor seating and more than 80 bulk candy options. An open-air spot, Guy's Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que will provide guests with authentic, real-deal barbeque on sea days.
